A large, once-beautiful Colonial in Lexington, Massachusetts had fallen into disrepair. We began by gutting it to the studs which enabled us to begin the design process with a very clean canvas. Our design was a creative blend of modern, open circulation and a tribute to the classical period that the home was built in. We restructured the kitchen to feature an open floor plan and dark granite, rich cherry cabinets, and stainless steel appliances. We added a master en-suite and utilized the previously unfinished third floor as guest room with private bath and living room.
